How to Transfer Text Messages from Samsung to A7/A8/A9

Text messages has always been a fundamental part in our daily communication. We use it share our emotion, words to our friends, families, classmate, etc. So when we exchange our old Samsung phone to a Samsung A series phone such as A7/A8/A9, the first thing we should do is transferring the SMS text messages to the new Samsung phone.

Step 1. Choose the transfer mode 

 
First of all, install and launch Mobile Transfer on your computer, when you can see the primary interface, chooe "Phone to Phone Transfer" function, and click on "Start" go on.


 

Step 2. Connect your phones to computer

 
Skip to next screen, you will be asked to connect both of your old Samsung and Galaxy A7/A8/A9 to your computer by using theirs USB cables.

 
Tips: Please distinguish your source phone and target phone, the old Samsung as the source phone is displayed on the left, and the Galaxy A7/A8/A9 as the target phone is displayed on right, if not, you can simple press "Flip" to exchange it.

 

Step 3. Transfer your data selectively

 
Now, the program will show you a content list on the middle of the window, you can choose them by checking the box. Then the source phone should be set on the left side while the destination phone is on the right side. After that, click "Start Transfer" button.

 
This time, Mobile Transfer will transfer the data you chose just now automatically. You don't need to do anything, but keep the two devices connected. After a while, when the process completed, you can disconnect your devices and check the data in your destination phone.
